 In a small village, nine-year-old Krishna Singhdeo lives with his parents, Indrani and Balram, who is the Sarpanch. Their lives take a dramatic turn when a lady named Mangla claims Balram is the father of her child. Indrani's heartbreak leads her to leave without a trace. Balram, in shock, dies by heart attack, while Mangla dies of illness with the child in her arms. Krishna, unaware of the adults' past, cares for the infant named Trishna as his own sister. Eighteen years later, Krishna becomes the respected Sarpanch, known for his fair leadership. Trishna, fiery and spirited, dreams of becoming a lawyer. Murli, a former goon turned lovable figure, returns to the village and falls in love with Trishna, causing tensions with Krishna and local don and his own mother Shrada Devi. Murli, seeking Trishna's attention, pretends to be a lawyer to help her. Bonding with Trishna, he assists her secretly with her education, leading to a close bond. However, Krishna discovers Murli's true identity, leading to conflict. Trishna learns her real parentage from Krishna's mother, Indrani, now a powerful politician. Despite Krishna's objections, Murli marries Trishna, causing a rift between siblings. The once inseparable brother and sister are now torn apart.
